Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address. Only if you subscribe to the DosedWise newsletter via our embedded sign-up form. Stored by Beehiiv on our behalf.
• Pageview metrics. Aggregate, cookie-less pageview counts via GoatCounter. We do not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, or persistent identifiers.
• Standard server logs. Vercel records request metadata (referrer, user agent, timing) for security and performance. Logs are deleted on Vercel's default retention schedule.

What we do not collect

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, do not load Facebook or Google Analytics tracking, and do not sell or rent any list of subscribers or readers.

How we use it

• Send you the newsletter you signed up for. The newsletter carries no sponsor messages and no paid placements.
• Measure which articles and reviews are read, so we can prioritise future audits.
• Diagnose site errors and protect against abuse.

Third parties we rely on

• Beehiiv. Newsletter delivery and unsubscribe handling. Their privacy policy governs subscriber data.
• GoatCounter. Privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no fingerprinting.
• Vercel. Hosting and CDN. Standard request logs.
• Supabase. Back-end database for product audits. Public read-only data only; no personal data is stored here.

Outbound links

DosedWise runs no affiliate links and no click tracking on outbound links. When we link to a manufacturer's official product page, that site may set its own cookies once you land on it. We do not control those cookies, receive no data back, and earn no commission. Read the destination's privacy policy if you are concerned.

Your rights

• Access and deletion. Email hello@dosedwise.com and we will tell you what we hold and delete it on request.
• Newsletter unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe footer.
• EU and UK readers. You have the rights granted by GDPR / UK GDPR. We act as data controller for the email list and data processor for what Beehiiv stores on our behalf.

Children

DosedWise is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our processing materially changes. The effective date at the top is the source of truth.
