Delivery technology intelligence
“Advanced delivery” is a claim until the formulation proves it.
DosedWise separates the delivery label from the evidence behind the exact technology, compound, comparator, and finished formulation.
Technologies tracked
Five systems. One standard of proof.
DosedWise will score named technologies only when enough public data exist. Until then, uncertainty stays visible.
Liposomal delivery
Formulation-specific
Was the finished formulation actually characterized?
The word liposomal is not proof. Particle data, encapsulation, stability, comparator, and human pharmacokinetics must support the claim.
Phytosome complexes
Formulation-specific
Is evidence tied to the named complex or only the ingredient?
A branded phospholipid complex can have useful evidence, but results cannot be transferred automatically to every product using similar language.
Micellar systems
Formulation-specific
Does the comparator isolate the delivery effect?
Solubilization may help selected compounds. The size of the advantage depends on the exact system, compound, dose, and study design.
Chelated minerals
Moderate
Which ligand, elemental dose, and analytical verification?
Chelated is a family, not a single technology. Identity, mineral yield, tolerability, and direct comparative evidence matter.
Modified release
Formulation-specific
Does the release profile improve the intended outcome?
Extended and delayed release can change exposure or tolerability, but a longer release profile is not automatically a better clinical product.
Evaluation framework
Six questions before any delivery advantage is credited.
- 01
Identity
What exact formulation or named technology was tested?
- 02
Characterization
Are particle size, encapsulation, or chemical identity documented?
- 03
Stability
Does the formulation remain intact through storage and relevant conditions?
- 04
Comparator
Was it compared with the correct conventional form at the same dose?
- 05
Human PK
Do human data support a meaningful AUC, Cmax, or exposure difference?
- 06
Replication
Has the result been reproduced independently or across studies?
Product scores remain governed by the public EDE methodology. Delivery-specific scoring will be published before it affects any verdict.
